Holly Bank House has many unique features and design elements that combine the traditional with the contemporary. Its location also combines a country setting with tranquil views and yet is within only 4 miles of the mainline train in Macclesfield to London/Manchester.

The most unique feature of the house is the 10m x 9m atrium connecting the main house with the ‘Studio'. This is a fantastic space of great portion with extraordinary qualities for living. The Studio is also a very interesting stone built multipurpose space with toilet, long counter/sink and a wood-burning stove. We have hosted seated dinner parties in the Studio for 30 guests.

The main house is a very charming stone built comfortable living experience that is integrated with the atrium and Studio. The ground floor has the lounge, study, dining room, kitchen, pantry, utility room/toilet, back porch, main hallway and access to the wine cellar. The first floor has three double bedrooms with two bathrooms (one ensuite). Also accessed by the first floor landing is the balcony into the atrium overlooking the patio. On the second floor, the very large attic space was converted 4 years ago providing the fourth bedroom and also a good office space with storage area and three Velux windows with good views of the countryside.

The house is surrounded on 3 sides by mature gardens and one private garden/patio which also includes two raised vegetable gardens and a fire pit. There is an oak carport for two cars that extends to the east from the studio, with easy access into the atrium.
