ORGANIC OLIVE, FIG, VEGETABLE FARM AND VINEYARD WITH ACCOMODATION A 17 acre organic fruit and vegetable farm on the Aegean Sea coast. The main crops are olives and figs, from which we produce one ton of first grade cold pressed organic virgin olive oil and 2 tons of organic sun-dried figs. We make preserves of almost everything, and sundry fruits during the summer. Almost everything we eat comes from our gardens and orchards - we bottle/ preserve fruits and veggies. Also the seeds to grow these things come almost entirely from last yearÂ's crop. Our farm is located on a hill in Kirazli(Cherry Village) with magnificent panoramic views of the orchard valley. The famous golden sandy beaches of Kusadasi, ancient city of Ephesus and the Virgin Marry are all in the vicinity of less than 15km. Izmir international airport is only 70km away. We restored a century old farmhouse into an ecological guesthouse. There is also fully equipped prefab – cottage that sleeps 4 people. Farm has 17acres of furtile land with 16 acres of mixed orchard (Olives, Figs, Pears, Apples, Cherries, Pomegranates, quinces, berries, nuts, almonds, plums, apricots, citrus fruits, grapes and many more) and 1 acre of vineyard. 17 acres of rolling hills with its own electricity and natural spring water, supplies plenty of water to the automated irrigation system. Please write to us for more information and magnificent photo album. Kirazli (Cherry Village) is a wonderful little Aegean village of 900 inhabitants. It is located 9km inland from Kusadasi coast, which means pleasant nights even in hottest months of July and August. Most of the houses in the village date from the 19th century or earlier. The village lies in a lovely bowl of hills surrounded by cherry orchards, vineyards and olive groves. The higher hills are covered with pine forest. Nearly all houses command a pastoral panorama extending over many miles, undisturbed by any modern development. The surroundings are full of idyllic country walks. Some tourism has unfortunately come into the village in recent years, bringing with it some souvenir shops, a dozen restaurants and a few guesthouses. But farming remains the principal activity. Villagers make wine and olive oil, and grow some of the best cherries and peaches in the country. They greet strangers with a smile and very often invite them in for a cup of tea.
